On July 19, 2014, please join us as we unite and join the FIGHT against children’s cancer for the 2nd annual BOAT RALLY FOR KIDS WITH CANCER in MUSKOKA!
What is the Boat Rally for Kids with Cancer? It is a unique, thrilling and exciting boating event that has put the FUN into FUNDRAISING. More importantly, the funds raised from this event will support children’s cancer research, treatment and care at SickKids.
Teams must agree to fundraise a minimum of $7,500 each (“entrance fee”) to participate in the Boat Rally.
- $7500, 4 people in your boat, 4 tickets to brunch and 4 tickets to the Barbeque Dinner
- $10,000, 6 people in your boat, 6 tickets to brunch and 6 tickets to the Barbeque Dinner
- $15,000 or more you have the opportunity to draft a celebrity onto your team. You are invited to include as many people as your boat can hold to participate in brunch, the scavenger cup and the Barbeque Dinner (a maximum of 12 people total). The highest fundraiser over $15,000 will draft their celebrity team mate first!
Fill your team with family, friends, colleagues and cottage guests. The Boat Rally is a fun filled day for you and your family!
CELEBRITY SELECTION– Friday
Boat Rally teams that raise $15,000 or more will have the opportunity to draft a Celebrity Team Mate. The highest fundraising team will have first draft pick. The remaining teams will draft in order of funds raised.
START YOUR ENGINES BRUNCH - Saturday
Adrenaline will be running high as Boat Rally Teams get ready for the checkered flag to wave. A delicious brunch will be served before participants set out on an adventure that will challenge, entertain, and inspire!
Fuelled by an extraordinary schedule of Pit Stops across Lake Joe and Rosseau at some of the most renowned establishments, Boat Rally Teams will embark on a journey led from one clue to the next. Along the way, participants will interact with some of the most unique and inspiring children!
BARBEQUE GALA DINNER
All Boat Rally Teams, Celebrity Team Mates, sponsors and invited guests will mingle in an intimate setting while enjoying an incredible dinner, first class entertainment, and a live auction. The winner of the Boat Rally will be announced!
